There was an explosion in Saint Petersburg metro on Monday, April 3 killing at least eleven people. Russian authorities have confirmed that the incident was an “act of terror” and vowed to deal with the perpetrators. Investigative Committee however said, they would ‘look into all other possible causes’ in the course of their investigation.
No
group has claimed responsibility yet. Recall that Islamic State group had
recently called for attacks on Russia for its involvement in Syria war. The
attack on Russia has confirmed that nowhere in the world is safe as these
jihadists are desperate to realize the mission of islamizing the whole world.
