“God never sleep” is not an adage but the statement of fact.
If God sleeps just a second of time, the world will be in danger. God is
faithful and His mercies endure forever. Do you pray and you feel your prayers
are not answered? God answers prayers that come from sinless heart. The only
thing that separates us from God and can hinder a good prayer is sin.
“Behold, the Lord’s
hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it
cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and
your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear”. Isaiah 59:1-2.
God loves the righteous. It is abomination for a sinner to
pray to God. Sins make God turn his face away from sinners. Learn how to talk
as a child of God. You must talk with wisdom. You should not hurt someone with
the way you talk. If “Your lips have
spoken lies, your tongue hath muttered perverseness”, Isaiah 59:3c then you
should not expect God to listen to you when pray or praise Him. It is not sins
of murders, fornications, adultery and idolatry only that count, but every
wrong in the sight of God is sin. All unrighteousness is sin, whether it be
ordinary lie or gossip or lack of love toward fellow human beings.
