Even before the impending defection of Senator Godswill Akpabio and Senator Ben Ayade the Governor of Cross River State to the APC, it was already certain that the two states are bound for BUHARI in 2019 and no masquerade can stop it.
And the fact that the 2019 election is not gonna be like 2015 where a BUHARI {from the North} and a Jonathan {from the South South} contested against each other. Nobody will write figures again as they did in 2015 for PDP so this alone makes it even bigger and better for PMB. Because in all indication and Political permutation PDP are fielding a Northern Candidate so for people from that part of the Country it is two Northern Candidates on the ballot paper for them to make their choice.
And without mincing words, PMB is that Choice because of the gesture he has offered them at the platter of Gold.
Take Cross Rivers state for a example, a State that has not voted him in 2015 but check out his appointees from that state;
- Perm Sec, Federal Ministry of Information Deaconess Grace Isu Gekpe
- Auditor General of the Federation
Mr Anthony M Ayine - Chairman Niger Delta Development Commission
Sen Victor Ndoma Egba - Minister of Niger Delta Ministry
Pastor Usani Uguru Usani - Head of Service of the Federation
Mrs Winifred Ekanem Oyo-Ita - Chief of Naval staff
Ibok Ekwe Ibas
Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen
And many other Boards and Parastatals Appointments from the State. So expect most of this appointees to work for Buhari's Reelection in the state.
Speaking when he hosted the Head of Service in his Office in Calabar , Gov Ayade has this to say about PMB.
" Despite political party differences, religion and regional dichotomy in the country, the president has shown cross river state love and support as a true father and leader in the country.
For us in Cross Rivers state, Never in the history of Nigerian politics has Cross River State benefited this much from the gale of appointments that have come to us. Head of Service of the Federation, Auditor General of the Federation, federal Permanent Secretary (Information) as well as the Chairman of the Niger Delta development commission (NDDC). We also have Minister of Niger Delta, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief Justice of Nigeria, the list is endless. We have never had it this good.”
The president is from the northern part of Nigeria while Cross River is in the south. This is a president who is an APC member while Cross River is a PDP state…This is a man who did not look at all biases and made a choice of Cross River State as the first state to perform his first working visit and he came here twice to initiate some federal projects , he gave us Rail system, this is unprecedented,” Ayade said.

And in Akwa Ibom just as Cross Rivers they didn't voted PMB but got the following;He, therefore, called on his people to support the President"
- Mr Nsima Ekere, a former deputy governor of the State is now the MD of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)
- Senator Eta Enang, top aide of the President on National Assembly matters
- Mr Umana U Umana, Managing Director Oil and Gas Free Zone Authority (OGFZA)
- Sen Udoma Udo Udoma, Minister of Budget and National Planning.
Speaking in same vein, in Uyo. APC woman Leader of the state Dr Usen Godwin Ikpe have this to say about Mr President.
“Going by the recently released list of appointees into Federal Government boards, President Buhari has proven his critics wrong, in terms of tribalism and partisanship. When you look at the number of Akwa Ibom indigenes appointed into federal boards and other positions of responsibility, you would readily agree that President Buhari is a detribalized leader.
“He is the father of the new Nigeria, who believes that everyone should be given opportunity to be part of governance and administration at the federal level, irrespective of tribal or religious affiliation.
She added: “The distribution of appointments has so far shown that every facet of the country is being carried along in the scheme of things. In the case of my state (Akwa Ibom), it is unprecedented. No President of Nigeria has ever favoured the state this much.”
While commending Buhari for the successes recorded in the fight against insurgency and ensuring security of lives and property of citizens, the university don lashed out at critics of the President, saying: “I know, those who used to benefit from various forms of corruption are complaining today, because they can no longer loot the nation’s treasury as they used to.
“ But, today, every right-thinking Nigerian would see that His Excellency, President Buhari, has brought sanity into the nation’s governance. He has made Nigerians to see the need to be self-reliant which was lacking in the past. Today, everybody wants to be part of the emerging new Nigeria.
“President Buhari has brought respect, and has rekindled the hope of Nigeria attaining her rightful place in the comity of nations. She concluded".
These are facts glaring even to the blind not mere propaganda or fictions. So whether Akpabio and AYADE defect or not their states are sure bound for PMB in 2019 because one good turns deserved another.“ But, today, every right-thinking Nigerian would see that His Excellency, President Buhari, has brought sanity into the nation’s governance.
