PDP accepts Gov. Ortom only as ordinary member by Obande Jacob Ajene

If you wish to come to PDP as an ordinary member and be absolved as a prodigal son, you are welcome but not as a party leader... PDP tells Governor Ortom!!! The leadership of the People Democratic Party PDP, in Benue state says Governor Samuel Ortom, can only be accepted into the party as an ordinary member and not as a leader, as the party already has credible political mahoganies to give them leadership.

The Chairman of the party Chief John Ngbede, made this known today at the party Secretariat in Makurdi the state capital. Chief Ngbede, in an interview with Premium Time Correspondents shortly after the executive meeting cited the Undefeatable political champion of the state Chief Sen. David Mark, as the leader of the party in the state. Ngbede strictly pointed out the like of Chief Sen. David Mark, Comrade Patrick Abba Moro, Dr. Gabriel Suswan and host of other notable individuals who can not afford to shift from the front seat for Governor Samuel Ortom, to take over.

He maintained that Ortom, should as a matter of fact accept his faith as a Governor whose tenure will not be repeated as the PDP has already prepared an undefeatable and eligible candidate that is waiting patiently to read Ortom's handing over note by the grace of God next year.

In a related development, an information coming out from the People's House has it that Governor Samuel Ortom, who is currently without a party is begging the National leadership of the PDP, to prevail on the state leadership not to only accept him as a member, but to also fly his candidature in the next year general election.
