All human beings always ask God for one thing or the other in prayer. It is important to remind that there are special times Almighty Allah accept our prayers faster. According to the Holy Quran and the Hadith of the Holy Prophet (SAW), the following are special times our prayers are accepted immediately.

From mid-night till dawn, Allah (SWT) has commanded all Muslims to stand up in the mid-night, observe Solatu Tahjud with the minimum of two rakahs and supplicate to Allah and ask for whatever you want from Allah. It is said in the Holy Quran that, Allah comes down to the seventh heaven during these hours, so any supplication made during this period of the nights is accepted and granted immediately.

When the cock crows. It is believed that when the cock crows, it is seening the Angels but when a dog barks, it is seeing the Jinns (Devils), so we must seek refuge from Allah against Shaytan (Devils) whenever a dog barks and supplicate very well when a cock crows.
When the sun rises in the morning till noon, Muslims are expected to observe Solatul Duha starting from two rakahs upward; if we supplicate during these hours too our prayers are accepted immediately.

To be continued.
