APC SENATORIAL PRIMARIES AND THE IGEDE AGENDA By Eka A'adu Dickson Jnr

Dr. Isaac Akwuma Egboja

Finally, the era of voting people across party lines based on their credibility is here and the right time to kick start the process is the primary elections of political parties. The time to make an Igede agenda known to the entire Idoma nation is here and we have a credible and saleable candidate from Igede that can represent the common good of the Idoma nation.

Gradually, things are changing and undoubtedly, Sir Dr. Isaac Egboja has systematically becomes the most popular contender for the APC ticket in the entire Benue South Senatorial District. As I write, he's presently the most acceptable aspirant in the whole of Idomaland and from Ado to Agatu to Apa, to Otukpo and to Ohimini, the story is the same.

If an Igede man can ever be given the chance to serve as a Senator representing Benue South Senatorial District at the upper chamber of the National Assembly then the right time is here and the right man is here.

Our amiable son, Father and mentor, Dr. Egboja who is a former United Nations envoy to many countries of the world has endeared himself to the whole of Idoma people and it's wise for the entire Igede nation to rally round this man of exploit and produce an Igede Senator that could redefine senatorial representation in our district.

WHY DR EGBOJA IS THE BEST FOR BENUE SOUTH
Dr. Isaac Akwuma Egboja is well educated and the most experienced man in the contest for the senator of Benue Zone C today. He has traveled to almost all the countries of the world and had experience of both local and international politics. He understands the global best practices of Politicking and representation with United Nations standard.

Dr. Egboja is a multiethnic man. While the Idomas saw him as one of their own following his balanced knowledge of the Idoma nation both in culture and origin and his ability to speak both the general Idoma language and the different strata of the complex languages within the Idoma nation (in fact, each local government he goes, he speaks their language), Igede sees him as their own based on his birth and origin. He's the only Igede man I know that can speak Igede fluently without a mixing of English phrases and words -a gift I'm trying to covet.

Dr. Egboja has provided and linked both Igede and Idoma Youths to employment opportunities in greater magnitude more than his contemporaries in all facets.

Dr. Isaac Egboja has great connections to the political leaders of Nigeria. Being one of the founding management members and board of Gowon Centre, he's well connected to two former Heads of State and a former president of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

As an experienced administrator who has always being a Board Chairman of a federal government Parastatal except in the current dispensation, this middle age man can always be given good committees in the Senate and he could use that to better the lives of the Igede people in particular and the Idoma people in general. Dr. Egboja is a weapon we can use to fight for good recognition and good governance.

He has contributed so much for the development of his people. He was the first and only man who singlehandedly bought a grader and fuel it for years for the grading and expansion of feeder and rural roads in the old Oju LG. He has rendered so many humanitarian services to both Igede and Idoma land.

At a time that the Idoma interest was put to test when we all believed that David Mark could be a Senate President and create Apa State for us, Dr. Egboja shelved his own ambition despite enjoying an unfathomable support from delegates across boards in the 2007 PDP primary elections. His calculations were right and David Mark became a Senate President then but his sacrifices were neither acknowledged nor rewarded -He's not a selfish man

If quality is needed in politics then Dr. Egboja is the man to watch
If payback is recognized in politics then Dr. Egboja is our next Senator
If experience and trajectory of track records count then Sir Dr. Isaac Egboja is the man for the new Idoma/Igede liberation

WHAT NEXT
Now that almost all the Idoma people in many LGAs have adopted this illustrious son of ours, it's only wise that he enjoys 100% bloc vote of the Igede people.
Let's all join hands and rewrite the history of our zone
Let's all join hands to make a mark in the political equation of Benue South
Let's all join hands to make the future of our unborn children great

Together we can do it
Igede is blessed
Idoma is blessed
