Vital Classes of Price to be paid in Leadership

1.      Price of comprehending leadership calling – Mark 8:22-25; Phil.2:5. When it comes to walking, living and functioning in our leadership calling, some Christian leaders do not understand this realm. “Ignorance breeds fears, and fear will always cause us to reject” what we are confronted with in our leadership calling; but when we catch a glimpse of our leadership role and start to see the results, fruit and impact of it, we desire more.
2.      Price of your commanded Life pattern and Duty – Acts 20:28; John 3:30. The scope of your leadership call should be capable of consuming your life; in that nothing should be able to take away from you the vital reality of your call in adequately leading His people aright. You cannot afford to neglect the duty post for any reason. May you be encouraged to commit your all for the cause of your call in leadership. You will never regret it; and you will accomplish greater heights for Him in Jesus name.
3.      Price of correct motive and intent – Luke 21:34; Prov.4:23. You must pay the price of constantly carrying a clean and unclouded heart; which does not have any ill-will, ill-feeling and misgiving against anyone. Take no offence for anything under any situation or circumstances. Let your heart intentionally harm no one; and be full of consideration for others. It is immensely and hugely required that your heart be regularly guided as a leader.
4.      Price of Core Value and Impact in Service – Prov. 16:12; Matt.18:6. The value of acceptable service in leadership in portrayed by righteousness; and not wickedness. Dare to pay the price of righteousness; and kill wicked intention in your leadership service to the Lord. It will be too risky not to pay this price, because it would have been better off.
5.      Price of Labour and Hardship – 2Cor.11:22-28; Rev.2:1-3. Leaders are not ready to labour more, even when tired and in hardship are not worthy of the assignment. The price of longsuffering and endurance for the sake of your leadership task cannot be over looked. Clear focus and devotion with concentration on the task to survive will dispel the distraction and pressure of fatigue on the line of our assignment.
