MATHEW 5:7, Jesus says, Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Mercy also means kindness. Mercy is synonymous with love. Mercy is one of the fruits of the spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22. The benefit of sowing a seed of mercy cannot be over-emphasised. Mercy will produce fruits that will ensure you perpetually enjoy love from people, and even from the wicked. It will be impossible for anyone to harm you. Mercy provokes favour.
I refer you to Genesis 39:21 where it is written that: 'But the Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy, and gave him favour in the sight of the keeper of the prison'. Whenever you show up, the overwhelming mercy you carry will suppress anything that will cause or allow anything contrary to mercy.
Brethren , l pray for you this reading this that mercy, love and favour shall locate you in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
