How to fight the Devil and defeat him By Pastor Olusegun Keku

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. Isaiah 59:19

Be steadfast, and be Strong; for the devil is coming. Yes, you heard me, devil is coming. Devil knows the man that is in need of money to pay house rent and he’s looking for those he will destroy. He knows that woman that's discouraged and feels troubled in her heart.  He's coming after you to make you feel the sickness and health challenge you're going through has no solution.  

God wants you to know that He is with you and you should have faith in Him. Devil wants to capitalise on your financial inconsistencies to make you depressed. Brethren don’t give devil any chance to operate in your life. Devil wants to take advantage of your situation, and make you feel isolated that God is not with you. Yes, I want you to understand devil’s tricks.  Devil is a thief and his work is summarised by Lord Jesus Christ in the following words:

 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy… John 10:10a

But I assure you that there is hope in Jesus. There is abundant life in Him. Jesus says: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10b

I have the word of God for you: Be strong, be of good courage, look onto God and He will never leave you nor forsake you. I encourage you with Psalm: 23:4 which says: Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Fear not!  In the midst of whatever you're going through presently, lift up your head and say, ‘I know my redeemer liveth’.  Be strong! This tempter will surely come, but I remind you that ‘’Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world’’.    It is written: ‘Many will be the afflictions of the righteous…’ but always remember that God will see you through in every situation. 

Devil doesn’t give up fighting, but be confident that God is with you unconditionally always. Use these weapons: Prayer and Praises to God and devil will flee from your life.

Our article is intended to stimulate you to hungry for more of Jesus and not to condemn you. We are aimed at making our readers to realise that life is a journey and death is inevitable.
