Muslims are planning to kill Ismael for Converting to Christianity, A Call for Rescue by Ibrahim Dikko

This is written on behalf of Brother Ismael, a 23 year old Muslim who converted to Christianity. Shalom brethren and Readers: I am Bro. Ismael an ex-Muslim who converted to Christianity7 months ago.

Ismael is 23 years of age, and he got to know Jesus through me in 2023; I continued to follow him up till he said Yes to Jesus.

Ismael began his passion for Jesus, dedicated to the church I introduced him to within his hometown. I kept advising him to resist going to church around his hometown, but his passion for Christianity didn't stop him.

He was reported to his family in March this year, and he told them about his new faith in Christ. His public declaration that he is now a Christian led to his merciless beating by Muslims in the community including his parents, especially his father who took part in the beating.

I told him to avoid church until a provision is made for him to relocate to a new environment; since then we have been praying as he pretends to be a Muslim to save the situation for now.

In the month of May a Pastor called me and said that Ismael was coming to church again, and some Muslims came and warned the church against allowing him to be coming to the church.

Right now his uncle and family members want to arrest Ismael and hand him over to the Hisba authority and this has made him to run away to hide for almost 4 days now.

The Pastor informed me of the imminent danger in the life of Ismael last Saturday; therefore we have decided that the only option for now is to raise money enough for his transportation for him to come down to my place. We also need money for his discipleship school. 

Money is not yet raised for him. The senior Pastor who is a Reverend in the Church is reluctant to support the issue due to fear of the Muslims getting aware of our plan for Ismael. The junior Pastor is the only one who shows understanding and has been giving the young man all the necessary support as we are preparing to relocate him. 

Please, we seek all your support in prayers and finances to take this young man, Ismael away from the hostile community for his own safety and that of the Church.

Muslims can do anything as they do not value life, so it is important we take him away to my house where it is safer to prepare him for his discipleship. We really need money and if it can be provided urgently then we will take him to my place without wasting time and send him to the discipleship school at the same time.

His discipleship school is N150,000. Other requirements including his fees for the discipleship school, transportation to my house will cost N37,000. He is expected to come from northeast, Nigeria to Enugu state. We need at least N180,000, that is $120.
