Futile Voyage by Muslims to Discover the Truth or Prophecy about Muhammad in the Bible By Ibrahim Dikko

There are three primary passages in the Bible that Muslims often point to as prophecies of the coming of Muhammad:

👉Deuteronomy 18:15-22.

👉Song of Solomon 5:16.

👉John 16:5-11.

First, in regards to Deuteronomy 18:15-22, the immediate context of this passage refers back to verses 9-14. There Moses warns the people of the danger of false prophets. God's people are to avoid any and all who presume to speak authoritatively about spiritual truth apart from God’s truth.

Second, in Songs of Solomon 5:16, the maiden says of her lover, "His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem''. The word translated as lovely is the Hebrew word machamadim. It is the plural of machamad, which means lovely, cute, or desirable. Although it is the root word of Muhammad, it does not follow that the verse refers to Muhammad, especially since the word used is a plural adjective, not the name of a person.

Finally, in John 16:5-11, Jesus prophesies that after He leaves, the Counselor will come, and this Counselor will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment (John 16:8).

Who is this Counselor?

Jesus Himself gives the answer in few verses later in John 16:13, But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. Jesus explicitly identifies the Counselor as the Holy Spirit. Jesus previously had used very similar terminology to predict the coming of the Holy Spirit: But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name. (John 14:26). It is abundantly clear in the Bible that the Counselor Jesus prophesied is the Holy Spirit, not Muhammad.

From Genesis to Revelation there is nowhere the Bible mentions Mohammed or anything about him. The relevant question is: Why are Muslims (of this 21st century) pushing Mohammed into the Bible which is not their holy book anyway?

The bible was completed a very long time before Mohammed was born. His birth was not known and there was nothing miraculous about his birth. He started his Religion (Islam) in a very unceremonious way. The Quran is a copy of the Turaht and Imjeel which is the old testament and the new testament, therefore I unapologetically say as follows:

Mohammed is not the counselor.

Mohammed is not the comforter.

Mohammed is not the prince of peace.

Mohammed is not the Healer.

Mohammed is not the advocate.

Mohammed is not the Holy spirit.

Mohammed is not the Holy ghost.

Mohammed is not the 3rd person of the Trinity.

The Trinitarians are:

👉God the father.

👉The son.

👉The Holy spirit.

The promise of the Holy Spirit is not Mohammed because Mohammad is not and can never be the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the Comforter.  My question is: Where is Comfort in Mohammed if he is the comforter? Are we comforted in Nigeria or anywhere in the world in the name of Mohammed or where his religion is a dominance?

Is there comfort in Israel with the Mohammed's religion playing dominant role in Palestine and Gaza?

We have almost 32 Islamic Jihad terrorist fighters in the world and all of them are traced to Mohammed lineage; so can someone tell me the comfort that Mohammed brought to the world? There is nowhere in the Bible where there is prophecy about the coming of Muhammad before or after the Lord Jesus Christ. Muhammad was not the prophet Moses predicted or foresaw neither was he the Counselor Jesus predicted.

Since the message of Muhammad contradicts the message of Jesus and the Bible on numerous points, the only biblical prophecy that would apply to Muhammad as a coming prophet after Jesus Christ is the one in Matthew 24:11 which says: ''And many false prophets will appear and deceive many people''.
