 A TESTIMONY OF MY CONVERSION FROM ISLAM TO CHRISTIANITY. 

Dalle Shangkinaan Roseline Su'an 

My name is Dalle Shangkinaan Roseline Su'an formerly Haseena I am from the Mwaghavul tribe in Mangu Local Govt Area of Plateau State. I came from a family whose both parents practice traditional religion. In the year 2005 I became attracted to Islam and fell for the seemingly good things I see about Islam and the outward piety often flaunted by Muslims. I left Christianity and became a Muslim on my own volition and became a very devout Muslim.

I enrolled in various Islamic schools to gain education about the Quran and the Deen. I attended Mallam Sale's School for Quran and Tafsir Kwararafa Jos, Plateau State. I got married 3 years later to Muhammadu Danjuma a devout and fanatical Muslim. I met Muhammadu through my friend Hajara who was born and raised a Muslim but now converted to Christianity. Hajara converted to Christianity even while I was still a Muslim.

My marriage was not blessed with a child of my own but I became a mother to my husband's children from his other marriages. I took care of those kids as though I were their biological Mother.

My story back to Christianity started in a somewhat twist of fate when one of the kids by name Fatima, the one I became fond of, whom we later went through a torrid and unforgettable experience together in our bid to become Christians took ill; It was a spiritual attack. The intervention of various Sheikhs and Marabouts did little or nothing to abate the attack.

As we sought for solution everywhere we went to a Pastor against my husband's wish. 

Fatima's situation became better afterwards and one day she knocked on my door and when I opened the door Fatima stood on the doorway looking excited and I asked what it was about, she beamed "Mommy Jesus have healed me, I am now well". She told me many times how Jesus have appeared to her and spoke to her.

The story of the torrid time Fatima and I had in our quest to become Christians is too long; we were harangued,beaten, persecuted and imprisoned. We ran from one place to another and later went our separate ways all in a bid to stay safe. Fatima is now being kidnapped and forcefully married to a certain convert to Islam whom they hope will keep her in the religion. Though we are many miles apart but secretly in touch. Anytime I speak to Fatima she quips happily about her unquenchable desire for Christ.

Please pray for my daughter Fatima, the last time I spoke with her she told me Jesus Christ is still revealing himself to her and has given her a message which she must see through.

Jesus is touching the lives of many Muslims in the most amazing way that they are coming to his light in their numbers. I have many friends that have left Islam to Christ,many of them are Fulanis,Hausa and from other tribes which I will share their stories in due course.

Dalle Roseline is now devoting her time, energy and scarce resources to spread the Gospel and defend the faith where and when necessary.
