Christian Leaders Visited Nigerian President and What They told Him has shocked the whole world by Salisu Yakubu
Look at this man. His name is Reverend Matthew Ndagoso. He is the lead Pastor who took a delegation of Nigerian pastors straight to the President's villa, and they did it LIVE for the whole world to see. He didn’t go there to play games or tell long stories. He stood there and read the message they had for the President without begging for favors, acting like a coward, or looking for a selfish handout.
First, he told him to fear God. Why? Because the people of this country are starving and life has become an unbearable struggle. Second, he told the President to get out of the justice system, keep your hands off the laws and the courts. Third, he demanded that the President stop interfering with elections. The electoral commission needs to be independent so that when the next election comes, every single person’s vote actually counts. Fourth, he looked him in the eye and said Nigeria is not safe. People are living in constant terror and fear. It is your absolute duty to provide security and peace. He ended it with a line that cuts deep: "You can't expect a polite meeting when the nation is bleeding".
That was it. No long winded talk. This wasn't about "Muslim-Muslim" or "Christian-Christian" tickets. They weren't there to beg for money to build a church or a worship center. They weren't there to kiss the government's feet while the country burns. This was about justice for everyone, regardless of who they pray to.
You need to understand something, religion is one thing, but having a conscience is another. Religion is between you and your God, but decency is how you treat the people you live with. If you cannot look a leader in the face and tell them the truth when their oppression has gone too far, then your religion is worthless. I swear, if your greed is bigger than your fear of God, you are lower than a dog in the eyes of the Almighty.
I am not saying we don't have Islamic scholars who can do this. But look around and be honest with yourself, How many of our Imams from the North do you think could actually swallow their greed and tell Tinubu this kind of raw truth directly to his face?. Just tell yourself the truth. You don’t even need to answer me out loud.
Heaven for All Mission (Hefam) is a nondenominational Christian Assembly aimed at taking the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to every nook and cranny of the world. We have been operating on this platform for many years now, and we believe it is high time we raise money to enable us sponsor people who are in the Mission and those who are desirous of going out to the unreached to preach the Good News of Salvation to them.
We are using this medium to appeal to you to join the Army of Christ by being a part of this holy movement through financial contributions to this Body. Taking the Gospel to every nation is in obedience to the command or Commission to us by Jesus Christ and it is an unavoidable spiritual risk worth venturing into.
