A HIJACKING GONE WRONG — FOR THE HIJACKER

Today, I am incredibly proud to be part of the Jewish nation. What a privilege.

Since the Abraham Accords, Israelis have flocked to Dubai. They trusted the peace, embraced it and travelled there by the thousands.

Then, at 34,000 feet, everything changed.

Two pilots — coworkers from Oman and the UAE. . According to sources, one stabbed the other in an attempt to take control of the aircraft, crash it and kill everyone aboard.

The captain was supposed to die.

He didn’t.

Because aboard that aircraft were Israeli civilians, IDF veterans, doctors and experienced pilots, including pilots with flying experience.

And when the emergency began, they acted.

Israeli passengers and a crew member breached the cockpit, confronted the attacker and subdued him.

An Israeli doctor rushed to the badly wounded captain, treated his stab wounds and fought to keep him alive.

Then experienced pilots aboard the aircraft stepped forward, took control of the situation and helped bring the plane safely down in Saudi Arabia.

Think about those few minutes:

Civilians confronted the attacker.

A doctor saved a life.

Pilots stepped forward when they were needed.

And after staring death in the face, what did the passengers do?

They sang.

They rejoiced. They thanked God.

THIS IS ISRAEL.

People who believe in peace and humanity — but when terror comes, they don’t freeze. They act.

Doctors. Pilots. Soldiers and veterans. Ordinary civilians capable of extraordinary courage.

Knowledge. Courage. Determination. Humanity. Resilience.

And yet some will continue trying to demonize Israelis and portray them as monsters.

But sometimes reality breaks through the propaganda.

Today it happened at 34,000 feet.

When there was an attacker, they subdued him.

When a man was bleeding, they saved him.

When the aircraft needed pilots, pilots stepped forward.

And when they survived, they sang.

I am proud of Israel.

I am proud of the IDF.

I am proud of the Jewish people.

If you ever have the opportunity to befriend Israelis — as individuals, communities or nations — do it.

When your life is on the line, you may discover they are exactly the people you want standing beside you.

🇮🇱 AM YISRAEL CHAI.
