YOU CHRISTIANS BELIEVE IN A GOD WHO BECAME A MAN: Yes, that’s what the Gospel says. When I was a Muslim before I turned to Christian, I thought this was a big problem.
Now, I see it as a wonderful truth. Christianity teaches that God didn’t just stay away from us.
It says that God came to be with us. The One who made everything came into His own world.
He didn’t come to show off or control us. He didn’t come to sit high on a throne and ask for more from us.
He came to suffer for us, to be with us. He shared our sadness, shed blood for us, died for us, and then came back to life.
What changed my thinking was realising that "Son of God" doesn’t mean God had a child as people do.
In Jewish culture, it means sharing the same qualities.
The message wasn’t that God had a baby. The message was that God showed Himself to us. This is where I started to have questions about Islam.
I thought God wouldn’t come down to be part of His own creation. Then I saw that this is what makes Him truly amazing.
It’s not that He stayed far away; it’s that He came close.
Close enough to touch sick people. Close enough to suffer. Close enough to die. So yes, Christians believe in the God-man. Because no regular person could save us.
And a distant god can’t show us real love. But Jesus did. Fully God, fully man, and just enough to save us!
