In the entirety of the world, only the Hausa man is forced to reject and refuse his fellow Hausa man or ethnic brother because of religion.
He has been brainwashed to hate and despise this ethnic fellow for practicing different religion.
All over the world only the Hausa man has being brainwasheed that additional criteria for his ethnicity is Islam.
For this reason many Hausa men of Sokoto, Zamafara, Katsina, Kebbi and other places don’t see a traditional or Christian Hausa man as a member of the ethnicity.
It’s for this reason, some even turn around and turn the word “Maguzawa” as an insult, while it literarily means “traditionalist”.

Even Arabs and the tribe of Quraish do not despise their fellow Arab brothers because of Islam the way some Hausa people do.
It’s for this reason, I still believe the Hausa people are still a conquered people. Until they realise that religion is not a yardstick for ethnic belonging. Simple.
