| Polygamy is the reason for the high population of Islam |
Christianity is the fastest growing religion on earth and not Islam. I have facts and figures.
About 120 people started the church in Acts 1:14. On the day of the Pentecostal, 3000 people received Jesus beside women and children. Acts 2:42.
On the second outing, 5,000 people beside women and children received Jesus willingly and they were added to the number. Acts 4:5.
Now, in two outings, about 8,000 people (beside women and children)were led to Christ at Jerusalem. If you want to add women and children to the number, you could be talking about a considerable figure because in every gathering , women are always more than men.
In the third outing, the crowds of the new converts were much that they could not account for. Acts 5:14.
Now that is how the church began. That was how the church penetrated Europe, Africa and the entire Asia minor.
That Bible says, by the space of two years , the gospel was preached in the entire Asia minor. You see speed. Acts 19:10.
THE GROWTH OF EVERY RELIGION IS DETERMINED BY CONVERSION AND NOT BY PROCREATION AND COERCION
In the university, I was taught by even a Muslim lecturer on Nigerian People and Culture, I was told that USMAN DANFODIO, a Fulani migrant and jihadist whose central home is Futa Tooro, the Modern day Senegal, came to Nigeria and forced Islam on Hausa, Nupe and Kanuri people and attempted to override Plateau, Taraba, Benue, and other tribes in the north east and north central but he was resisted.
Historically, Islam was forced on some tribes in Nigeria who were originally traditionists through Jihad. Usman Danfodio and his men killed, wrecked havoc and took over the Hausa land where he established the Sokoto Caliphate. And that is what is happening now, when the Islamic terrorists like Boko Haram, ISIS, Taliban, FULANI bandits, etc captured non Muslims, they force them on gun point to denounce their faith to Islam. So, many people especially those with a shadow religious background would surrender and become Muslims unwillingly.
Check most of the village heads who are now Muslims in the north were formerly idol worshippers before they were threatened to dethrone and kill.
So, religion is a thing of willingness and not COMPULSION. When you force people to denounce their faith, it becomes a cult.
PROCREATION
Islam permits one man to marry 4 wives, even some of them married more than 4 wives through government sponsorship in order to multiply their followership. That is not a religious growth.
In Christianity, for example, I am not automatically a Christian because my parents are Christians. No! Even though I was born into a Christian family, it can't be said that I am a Christian until I personally believe and accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour.
So, in Islam, one is permitted to marry many wives to multiply their numbers and has over 50 children declare them Muslims unlike Christianity. So, Christianity grows by conversion and not by procreation. That is why more Muslims including the children of Islamic scholars and Emirs in their numbers are becoming Christians by conversion and not by COMPULSION .
So many Northern Governors in Nigeria are sponsoring a Muslim mass marriage with the purpose of multiplying their numbers without thinking about their education and welfare. Some of the elites marry only one wife, but they sponsor the unexposed ones to marry many wives in order to multiply numbers for political reasons.
So, Islam is not the fastest growing religion by conversion but by procreation and compulsion
That is why there are many people in Islam looking for escape routes to leave Islam because they were forced into it
