Prophet Muhammad Warned Muslims not to greet Christians first by Joseph Inusah Seidu

This is the reason certain Muslims don’t greet Christians. Sometimes, when you greet them as a Christian, they don’t even respond.

According to Muhammad’s teachings, Muslims are prohibited from initiating greetings to Christians. One of Muhammad’s companions by the name Ibn Umar was passing by when a Christian greeted him, and he responded. After he left, he discovered that the man who had greeted him was a Christian. So, he went back to the man and told him to give him back his greeting! (Al-Adab Al-Mufrad, 1115)

Can you imagine that? Why? Because Muhammad told them not to greet Christians first. And even when they meet Christians on the road, they are instructed to push them to the side of the road. (Sahih Muslim 2167a)

You can read this for yourself. It is funny! How on earth can you greet somebody and then go back to collect your greeting? Yet, this is a religion that calls itself a religion of peace!

So, to those Muslims who are friendly, who greet Christians, and who have no problem associating with them, I appreciate you. Because if they were to follow Muhammad’s teachings, they would be behaving very dangerous.

They claim that Muhammad is the perfect example for humanity. Well, if we are to produce human beings who behave exactly like Muhammad and follow his teachings, then the world is in trouble!

Look at what the world is already going through because of people who have decided to imitate Muhammad and follow his teachings.
