TRUE LIFE STORY: HOW ALCOHOL DESTROYED MY LIFE AND MADE ME DATE BARMAIDS By Kevoo Muchikha Namunava Himsevefu

This is my most shameful story.
I AM sharing this today because some man needs to hear it.
When I was drinking, I thought I was a big man because I was dating barmaids.
I would go to the bar at 7 PM. Buy beers. Buy her beers. Buy her friends beers. I thought I was winning her heart.
The whole bar knew I wanted her. The problem is, 10 other drunk men also wanted her. Same lady.
We were all there, like fools, competing. Buying her shots. Sending her money on M-Pesa. "Kitu kidogo ya kukushukuru."
She was smart. She collected from all of us. Me, the boda guy, the teacher, the mzee from the market. All of us.
We would wait. 10 PM. 11 PM. 12 AM. 1 AM. 2 AM.
Waiting for her to close the bar so she could go home with us.
At 2 AM, my family is at home sleeping. My wife wondering where I am. My children asking, "Where is dad?" And I am outside a bar in the cold, waiting for a lady who has already decided she is going home alone.
At 2:15 AM, she comes out. We all stand up like dogs. And she looks at us, smiles, says, "Wacheni ujinga, niko tired, I'm going home alone. Kesho."
We all walk home. Broke. Drunk. Alone. Having spent all our salary on beer and on a lady who went with none of us.
I did this for months. I would hang till 2 AM, then go home and sleep outside my own open door because I was too drunk to find the keyhole. My wife would open in the morning and find me on the floor like a dog.
The funniest and most painful part?
When I got broke — truly broke — those same ladies wouldn't look at me twice. Not even a greeting. I would enter the bar and they would pass me like I was invisible. The man who had bought beers for everyone was now begging for a chair.
Ooh, how stupid I was.
Alcohol makes you think you are a king, but you are a clown in a bar.
Alcohol makes you hunt women who don't want you, while the woman who loves you is at home crying for you.
Alcohol makes you spend your children's school fees on a stranger who collected money from 10 men and went home alone.
If you are a man reading this and you are still doing this — waiting outside bars till 2 AM, spending your salary on barmaids who will not even greet you when you are broke — wake up.
Your family is your real wealth.
Today I am 2 years sober. No barmaid calls me. No bar knows my name. But my wife calls me. My children run to me when they hear my footsteps. I sleep inside my house, not outside my open door.
I lost money. I lost dignity. But I found my family again.
Don't be like me. Don't wait till 2 AM for someone who is collecting from everyone. Go home at 7 PM. Your real queen is waiting there.
Have you ever wasted money and time like this?
Be honest. Your story might save a young man.
