Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, made it her life's work to ensure that couples had fulfilling marriages. But unfortunately, she died before she could help her own children achieve that same goals.
I am very certain she would be extremely disappointed in her children wherever she is! Not even the materials she left behind were enough to help her children not to go astray in marriage.
In 2020, Jimmy celebrated his 8th wedding anniversary. In a public post that he made, he praised his wife and said she was the best thing that happened to him and pledged his forever to her.
What beats me now is what happened between 2020 and 2023 when he took over the mantle of G.O from his father. How and where did it go wrong? What went wrong in 3 years that couldn't be resolved between them? How could the marriage that looked so beautiful end so abruptly?
I am against piercing of every kind. All that I think in my heart right now is how would I be comfortable taking my children to this man's church where his new wife pierces her nose?
How would I be able to tell my children that it is wrong to have tattoos on their bodies when they have a pastor who has tattoos? Is their pastor now wrong?
How do I tell my kids it's wrong for a man to wear earrings when his pastor is doing exactly that. How do I tell my son it is not very manly or it is not biblical to have dreads on when his pastor is doing the exact same thing?
I don't feel comfortable around these churches. I don't feel comfortable with their doctrines. Breaking biblical foundations is setting ourselves up for destruction cuz if the foundation is faulty...
Worse still, he left all the single women who he has been praying against marital delay for to pick a wife from the US! Is he saying his products are unfit?
New wife suddenly becomes a pastor by virtue of marriage! Na so God talk am? These ppl just make it easier to walk far way from the church.
With the way things are going, I'd rather just pack my family into a room every Sunday and conduct service. The word of God says where 2 or 3 are gathered He is there. It didn't specify it had to be a physical church. Our bodies are the living Temples of God!
I'd prefer to dig my way to hell rather than do everything right but follow a pastor to hell!
At the end of the day, it's usually business as usual.
