We have lost our way...
We were meant to raise godly children, marry as virgins, build our families, love, submit and respect our spouses, be powerful. Lay hands on the sick and perform miracles greater than ones Christ did but all that changed when we started moving the goal post.
At first it was little, unnoticeable alterations.
Pastors involved in domestic violence. Men of God marrying multiple wives. General Overseers welcoming yahoo boys & fraudsters into church. Pulpit Daddies during the day and Shrine Babalawo at night!
Senior Pastors more concerned about you gaining the world than losing your souls. Bishops who weren't concerned about modesty anymore. Apostles more particular about building large auditoriums than you the actual Temple of God.
Reverends whose appearances aren't different from the very worldly ppl they are trying to convert. Papa's who no longer preach salvation but are more focused on your tithe and filling your head with the love of money! No wonder there is evil roots sprouting everywhere!
These are the fathers in the Lord you defend with impunity so tht you can indulge in your own sins without consequences. O ye weakest links!
Multiple churches on every street and we are still this crude, evil and poor. Yet, you fail to ask yourselves the right question: What is going on!
If only you knew that you are a city set up on the mountain top! If only you realize what it means to be the Light of the world. If only you believe that you can't cook or purify anything without salt! You don't know what you are as the salt of the earth!
This is cos you clinge to your pastors rather than to God. You make them untouchable and sin, instead of grace abounds.
You forget the God you serve cannot behold sin and the grace you abuse will eventually run out. God cannot function in an atmosphere if iniquities. The very minute, you can't call out evil, you are compromised! If you can't criticize, you have a mini-god in your hands. You were never called to be slaves even to Christ so why will you allow your pastors to do that to you?
When we call out evil things, it's not cos anything can change. Nigerian pastors answer to no one. They don't have elders in most churches. They are the head and final say even when they lead you astray. That's power God never gave to any man! We are co-labourers. They are meant to serve!
But do I blame most of you blind followers? Nah! Coming to my DM to rain curses on me for telling the blatant truth about Pastor Jimmy (the same truth which God's words says would set you free) is simply stupidity on your part.
Did I answer any of you? I don't entertain fools! You will bark to stupor! All the derogatory posts I have been dragged in, did I fold? Mo bend ti!
Pharisees and Sadducees of the 21st century, your forefathers nailed Christ to the cross for doing one single thing: Speaking The Truth!
